Located
in the heart of North Idaho’s
sportsman’s paradise, the Naples Inn caters to outdoor enthusiasts
year around! Whether your sport is fishing, hunting, hiking, cycling,
skiing, snowmobiling, or just sharing a true appreciation for scenic
beauty, you can do it all within minutes of the Inn. Your
days will be filled exploring dozens of lakes and miles of streams,
rivers, and trails, and the evenings offer an enjoyable opportunity
to swap fishing stories with fellow guests around the stove or
on the deck.
Originally built as a community dance hall in the early 1900’s,
the Naples Inn building was the heart and social center of a far
flung rural community for many years. Depending on their age, the
locals can tell you about wintertime dances featuring such entertainers
as a very young Bing Crosby, or barn storming basketball games
with neighboring towns that held important bragging rights at stake,
all happening at the hall. Today the Naples Inn is a historic reminder
of the hardy community life that withstood North Idaho’s
rugged environment in days past.
